I Will Be Healed

Mark 5:28 – For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.”

What is the cause of the common cold? How does cancer dispatch a person’s body like a silent assassin? How do mouth sores come and go without any remedy? In essence, some sicknesses are beyond our control. Sometimes we cannot help the immense pain, or debilitating headaches. Sometimes our body aches intertwine with our muscles to form a concoction of hampered movement. Sometimes sickness can scare us, but if I just TOUCH his ROBE, I will be HEALED, if I just CLOSE my EYES, I will feel no pain. If I just HOLD onto Gods unchanging HAND, my SPIRIT will flutter. Thus, what is sickness? For Jim Valvano, cancer couldn’t touch his mind, heart, or soul. He understood that our bodies would waste away, but our spirits would be unaffected. But God told us all this long ago so we might have peace in Him. Thus, “we must take heart, because HE has overcome the world” (John 16:33). Amen
