Choose To Believe

Matthew 9:28-29 – “Do you believe I can make you see?” “Yes, Lord,” they told him, “we do.” Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.”

Who are they? Well, they are the blind men who ran to Jesus to be healed. They are the men who stood and walked by faith believing that God could perform this miracle. Thus, is the lesson found in believing God can turn around any situation for our good? Is the lesson found through the endurance of faith to withstand any circumstance that comes our way? While all these are within Gods scope to do, the lesson speaks to spiritual blindness instead of the physical. Why, because spiritual is a deeply rooted tree grown from the seed of unbelief. Unbelief rots our peace and holds us hostage against our own wills. Therefore, choose to believe, instead of doubt because God has not brought you this far to let go of your hand now. Amen
