The Light

Ephesians 5:14 -Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead and Christ will give you light. (NKJ)

The light makes everything visible.  The light! The light! The light! The light turned Saul into Paul. The light set a bush ablaze and made Moses lead the Israelites to freedom. The light gleamed from atop Moses’ head when he came down from Mt. Sinai holding the Ten Commandments. The light stood with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego when they were thrown into the fiery furnace. THE LIGHT. You see “Jehovah Ori”, the Lord of Light, dispels the darkness. He is our night light when sleeping, our headlights when driving, and our candle when the power has gone out. He is the master of joy and the prince of positivity. His light is not always tangible, but when God brings us joy, the glimmer in our eyes and the sparkle of our smile creates light in a dim room. Our path is illuminated and his refulgence (brilliance) burns bright as the noonday sun. Thus may we open the blinds upon our hearts and let the light in. Amen!
