Let Go And Let God

Jeremiah 38:21

But if you refuse to surrender, this is what the Lord has revealed to me:

In each life there is frustration, fear, and happiness that seems to come and go like the changing tides of the sea. However, what happens when the waves of disappointment keep knocking us off our feet? Isn’t it then that we despair the most? Why can’t I be better? Is it even possible for me to catch a break? Within each question is a seed of CONFUSION due to our limited knowledge – the result? Denial and an increase in the growth of the dreaded Cyclops called PRIDE. In each scenario, our pride has seized our emotions, thoughts, and future ambitions. We have sought peace to fulfill our own destinies through our own understanding (Prov 3:5); however, when we surrender, we’re not defeated, but are victorious. Because once we let go and let God, our faith grows even stronger, and peace besets our souls. Amen
