Lamentations 3:22,23 –  The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. His mercies begin afresh each morning.
Where has all our faith gone? Why does fear replace trust in Gods unchanging hand? It should be noted that lamentations is a book, which tells us of the Babylonian takeover and Jeremiah’s undying faith in God. Jeremiah didn’t flee the sight of Nebuchadnezzar’s army, nor did he quake as his city was being captured. Therefore, why do we crumble when our circumstances seem to have no solution? For example, jobs cut to minimize losses, homes unsold or vacated, due to weak housing markets, relationships repeated to quiet the loneliness. All are caveats of the enemy trying to  steal our joy. For our society is steeped in fear and worry. Hence, the increase in depression, apathy, and pain. Thus, may we all LISTEN UP, for it is by faith that our hearts and minds will be enlightened. And it will be by FAITH that God will turn everything around for his good. Amen
