Be Encouraged

Romans 1:12 – “When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.”

Here is when a brother helps another and a sister comes to the aid of a fallen comrade.  Now this is not in reference to our genetic family members, but our Christian family.  I have witnessed this through the powerful words through someone I know who stressed the importance of continuing to serve others so that they might know the wonders of Christ.  I realized that encouragement is a gift wrapped in gold with a red bow elegantly tied on top.  Every time the gift is in our sights we become excited and our minds focus on the contents of the box.  Once opened, we are filled with gratitude because the gift expressed care and interest in our mission.  The gift acknowledged our good deeds and ENCOURAGED us to keep administering them.  We now are uplifted and renewed to go out into the world once again.  Amen
