We Must Quiet Down And Hear God’s Voice

Proverbs 10:19 –  “Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.”

Loquacious, smooth, and deceiving talk, are all characteristics of fools. Sensible, pragmatic and just talk, are all characteristics of the wise. Whom would you want to associate yourself with? Who would bring honor to your cause, or peace to your soul? Who would cause others to evaluate themselves in order to be a better person? See, the fool thinks they have won and that others cannot see their treacherous schemes. However, God always peels back the wool from a Christian’s eyes to provide clarity for his children. We must understand that God gave us wisdom through experiences, His Word, friends, and family. We must realize that a fool lives a short life, while the wise frolic in prosperity. Thus, we must quiet down and hear Gods voice through a whisper, before the thunder of Gods disapproval rings loudly in our ears.
