Effect of Sin

Sin is tempting Adam and Eve.

In Genesis 3 The devil presented an alluring picture that was intertwined with deception, deceit, and lies.

Eve gave in because it looked so good, sounded so good.  It  wasn’t ugly and smelly,  it looked pleasant and delicious. Sin is a box full of decaying carcasses wrapped in a spotless, shiny golden box with a bright red bow on top. If sin looked bad “would we do it?”

No it looks good, sounds good, feels good for a split second and than we digest it. Immediately it spreads through our body like an infectious disease. It eats us from the inside out until we eventually die! (‘For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord’ Romans 6:23)

Is sin so good that we should give ourselves to it and serve it day and night for all eternity?
Whatever you’re contemplating, dabbling in, or doing I am telling you STOP! Its not worth it.

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
