The Door Will Be Opened

Eph 5:16-17 – Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. (NLT)

What should we do with the opportunities we have been given? Matt 7:8 says “….to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”(NLT) Thus, what is a door’s function? Well, it’s a two sided portal that allows a person to enter or exit. Whether the door remains open or closed is up to you, but here is the significance of walking through. Every man made avenue deemed to help our reputations or businesses seem tawdry to God’s purpose. Hence, we begin to search our own hearts to find God’s answer. The answer comes in many different forms, whether it is a council of advisors, warnings, or guilt to arrive at the best decision. Opportunities are a dime a dozen, but those who follow the Lord will prosper. Do you now see the light emanating from the cracked door? It’s the Lord instructing you, so knock first and walk through. Amen
